* I understand that by accepting the Kids in Technology Scholarship, that all photographic or video recordings become the sole property of the Derek D. Montgomery Foundation, MECS, LLC and can be published to any media at the sole discretion of the Derek D. Montgomery Foundation, MECS, LLC or any of its affiliates. You further understand that you may be required to send in photographs or videos as a requirement to receive this scholarship and that all photos and video must be professional and of print quality.

* I understand that this scholarship is at the sole discretion of the Derek D. Montgomery Foundation and can be withdrawn for any reason at any time.

If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

Derek D. Montgomery Foundation administers 5 scholarships designed to offer aid to students that represent unique characteristics. Please check each of the qualifiers below that apply to you. Students must be an high-school graduate planning to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university and interested in pursuing a STEM-related career. Please note, if you are awarded a scholarship based on any of these qualifiers, you will be asked to produce documentation verifying your unique eligibility.

Your essay should be 300-500 words. You should describe your career goals and choice of major, why you're interested in pursuing a STEM-related career, and why this scholarship is important to you. Include any academic and non-academic accomplishments, personal characteristics, or experiences that make you uniquely worthy of scholarship consideration.
